Sometimes it’s not a shot you planned for that turns out interesting. Case in point, I got the shot below in Death Valley, which seemed ironic given that it was related to water.
The backstory is that we had a bottle of water that’d gotten punctured ever so slightly, while still unopened, and we got to watch it slowly collapse upon itself. Once the sun had gone down and it had gotten really distorted I took this shot.
Interesting note for you nature lovers: the local birds sat below the table and snapped up each drop as it fell. That’s some adaptation for you!
